What we share with our neighbors? It is to this question that arose the Social Street, viral movement that wants to promote the exchange of knowledge, expertise and solidarity among those who live in the same street, first online and then live.
This phenomenon has inspired us and gave us a starting point to create the first cooking workshop in Key Social, thought to unite and raise awareness of the neighbors with a fun activity and aggregative where the kitchen is the tool to a newfound sociability .
For four Saturdays in May (3, 10, 17 and 31), on the occasion of the days of Expo City, California Bakery, and the team's Cooking Lab will arrive in the yards and homes of Milan to teach groups of neighbors how to prepare sweets typical cuisine USA: four events around the city, real laboratories of cooking at home.
How does it work? 1. Involve your neighbors: groups of neighbors interested will find the participants (12 for each workshop) 2. Bring the tools and ingredients we will indicate you: you will have to do the shopping according to our instructions, and the equipment will be one that is commonly found in any kitchen 3. Open the doors of your house: we come to you. You must have a backyard, a local pool, the kitchen is particularly renovation cuisine large a neighbor. The important thing is that there are plans to support all work and water at hand. 4. Put your hands dirty with California Bakery: realize a recipe step by step, under the guidance of our teachers. Until cooked in the oven in your kitchen. Our teachers, the recipes and the know-how will be the ingredients that will offer. And the cake for dinner, to eat in the company, is served.
The initiative is free.
