In bed. Holidays are for hiking, discovery and exploration. It's meant for pilgrimages and epic went to distant exotic destinations. But I will lie in bed. Body aches, american woodmark throbbing head, burning gums, runny nose, rasperkeel and a disappointed woman.
Fortunately, the bed in a friend's house on the Isle of Wight. american woodmark Out the window, I see the port of St. Helen's, a village on the east coast of the English Channel island. It is England as you imagine it has: picturesque, "chocolate box".
In my mind I was already here. Not "de ja vu", but definitely somewhere on a sjokoladekardoes I have seen something of this. I can even say where. At the Durban for beach just north of the "Cuban Hat" was a full arcade games, you had to rabbits with tennis balls can hit, or rings to get all necks. "Roll up, roll up, three brass balls for a Bob!" american woodmark
The stalls were crowded prices: giant teddy bears, american woodmark colorful american woodmark cake tins, and large boxes of chocolates with Ballroom on the lids and the nectar of the gods therein. So beautiful was the boxes, that grandmother could not throw away. Buttons, yarn spinning tops, pincushions and vingerhoede found among English landscapes location. And sometimes, if not more trinkets that were put away somewhere had to be, the cartouches like paintings are made on the wireless and the sideboard. Mother, again, was dashing into the kitchen and was always looking for a cake tin. A large yellow, green, blue and red parrots along home. Those parrots was my whole childhood the guardians of fudge, vanilje sponges or, at Christmas, koffiekoekies. Look, Dad was agile with the games - I was completely helpless and you will not convince me to first try! - So we rarely left without loot.
Few journeys are as exciting as flights of imagination and travels of remembrance. Here I lie in bed in the strange and I felt at home again in Mom's kitchen and Grandma's american woodmark living room. Because at my window, I see a sjokoladekardoes-English landscape. We bought today in a chocolate shop in Ryde homemade frandisies, has certainly helped.
