Cabinet: Manolo Millares collects its later stage in El Paso through a selection of paintings and p


Bastion of Palma is presented on 14 February to 1 May 2014 cabinet space artist Manolo Millares kitchen set murah (Las Palmas, 1926 - Madrid, 1972) and research on their work from existing works in the museum. After its inception focused on primitivism and iconography Guanche, reflected in its well-known pictographs Miller evolves and defines its own language, kitchen set murah being the humble xarpellera-material-support appropriate to reflect their concerns: the man the recent past in Spain, the pain and the effects of war or the history of Spanish art, particularly the Golden Age. Moved to Madrid in 1955, where he founded the group along with Antonio Saura El Paso in 1957, the largest group in Spain informalists, active until 1960.
Cabinet: Manolo Millares collects its later stage in El Paso through a selection of paintings and prints made between 1961 and 1970 from the museum's collection, which will be shown along with information about the artist and his work , referring also to the collaboration of miles in the special issue of Papers Armadans Son of El Paso in 1959.
